YUENGLING STEINS
A STEIN IS ANY BEER CONTAINER, REGARDLESS OF ITS MATERIAL OR SIZE, THAT HAS A HINGED LID WITH A THUMBLIFT AND A HANDLE.
1989 160th Anniversary Limited edition of 1,000, individually numbered. This 9 3/4" stein was made in W. Germany by Gerz. The hand-painted body features a re-creation of a Yuengling advertisment poster (circa 1898) depicting a tavern patron. Mounted on the pewter lid is a ceramic Yuengling Eagle.
1996 Black & Tan Limited edition of 500. This 7"stein was made in the USA, from Knauss & Associates. 
1996 Lord Chesterfield Ale Limited edition of 500. This 7"stein was made in the USA, from Knauss & Associates. 
1999 170th Anniversary Limited edition of 1,500. This 7 1/2" stein was made in Germany.  Collectible 1999, spelled Collectinle 1999, on the bottom.
The large size 2004 175th Anniversary 32 liter stein was made in Germany for Knauss & Associates , Over 3 feet tall & weighs 45 pounds. Written in Gold, around the mouth of the stein is "D.G.Yuengling 1829-2005 175 Years" Embossed in German, just below the Yuengling inscription it says "The man who can drink all this is truly a great man". 
This is the small 2004 175th Anniversary 9 3/4" stein from Knauss & Associates. Only 3 were produced. There are 9 raised ovals around the bottom. 3 have a raised eagle and the other 6 picture the Yuengling family members who have run the brewery, from David G. Yuengling to Richard Yuengling Jr. Yuengling decided not to have these produced and did not place an order for this stein.  
2004 Yuengling 175th Anniversary 8" glass stein was made in Germany by Domex. The glass for the stein was made in Italy. Raised pewter 175th Anniversary medallion attached to the front of the stein.
Yuengling Signature Series stein, First Edition, individually numbered, limited edition of 4,950. This 9" lidded stein was made in China for CUI, IncTo the right is pictured the Fermenting Room and the Elevator. To the left is pictured the Kettle and the Mash Tub.
This 9 3/4" stein features the brewery landscape on the front.
 This is the medium size 2004 Yuengling 175th Anniversary lidded stein by Knauss & Associates. This 22" tall tankard has a 4” high bell shaped, 95% Zinn, (Pewter) lid, making it over 2 feet tall. This stein will hold 8 liters (just over 2 gallons) of Yuengling Lager! 
On the front of the stein is “Yuengling 175th Anniversary 1929 – 2004”. A picture of the brewery with horse drawn barrel wagons is pictured to the right of the large handle. On the other side appears the brew tank with the stained glass ceiling above it. Under these is “America's Oldest Brewery”, in raised lettering. This is followed by 9 raised circles with the pictures of the 6 Yuengling family members who have run the brewery, from founder D.G. 
There were three matching samples made. One was for Yuengling to review and consider having produced. The second for Knauss & Associates German factory to use as a reference and third was used as a sales sample. Yuengling decided not to have these produced and did not place an order for this stein.
